Grading is the last rewrite of the story. I work from log to look in DaVinci Resolve — protecting skin, building mood, matching formats from cinema plates to phone-shot social. The grade should be felt, not noticed.

Fifteen years of broadcast TVCs, brand films and social-first cutdowns. Editing is subtraction — the frame you remove is as loaded as the one you keep. Motion graphics when the story needs them, never because the timeline looked empty.

NEW LIGHT SAME EYE
AI is in my pipeline because clients ship faster now, not because it's a trend. Generative extension and cleanup inside real briefs, AI-assisted versioning at social scale, custom workflow tooling. Taste is still the moat.

I've spent fifteen years in edit suites making work for the brands Australia watches — TVCs, brand films and social for agencies and direct clients. I grade in DaVinci Resolve, cut in Premiere, and build AI into the pipeline where it actually helps. The tools keep changing. The eye is the job.
